Google Returns to York for Free Digital Skills Training Day

York's local businesses are set to benefit from an exciting opportunity as Google Digital Garage returns to provide a free digital skills training day.

The training day, a collaborative effort between the City of York Council’s Economic Growth team and Google Digital Garage, will feature three expertly developed courses from Google's New Fundamentals training series. These courses aim to equip participants with essential digital skills to enhance their productivity and business strategies.

Training Topics:

1. Boost your productivity with AI
• Learn about generative AI; AI-powered tools; and crafting effective prompts to save time at work.
2. Decision-making with data
• Understand foundational data concepts; techniques for exploring and questioning data; and analysing data to make better decisions.
3. Problem Solve like a Consultant
• Discover effective problem-solving techniques; defining problem statements; and implementing and evaluating solutions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in group mentoring sessions during registration and can also benefit from 1-1 bespoke mentoring with Grow with Google experts after the event. The courses are designed for all skill levels, with no prior knowledge or experience required, ensuring ample opportunities for questions and interactive learning.
